The first ever Halloween host a roast was a huge success, being very well attended. We were so very lucky with the weather, it was almost warm! Andrew, Steve and Paul did a marvellous job on the bbq all wearing their very fetching wizards hats! There was divine hot vegetable soup, kindly made by "Auntie Melissa" which went down an absolute treat! Pumpkin muffins, marshmallows and delicious but deadly mulled wine (perhaps a dash too much brandy) were provided by the ever smiling "Auntie Ems!" "Auntie Bev" was in charge of buying the super decorations and making sure everything ran smoothly on the evening! "Uncle Will" was in charge (as usual) of the bar, with James and Stuart who did an excellent job serving behind (for once!) the bar all night. The Healey's and the Phillis' did an excellent job making some very artistic pumpkin lanterns and Antony and Kanga were invaluable helping to set everything up after hound trailing on Saturday afternoon. The Entertainment was provided by Andrew and Steve (as you will see from the photographs!) (And yes it did get worse!!) All in all a good time was had by all and there were some very sore heads the next morning!!

Thank you's!

A huge thanks must go to the following for all trying to keep me sane!!! Uncle Will & Auntie Bev, Auntie Em's, Auntie Melissa, Auntie Ange, Antony, Kanga, Steve, James, Stuart, Sharon, Paul, Mum & Dad, Jo, Spike, Ellie, Jack, Laura & Harry. A big thankyou must go to Jengers Bakery for donating all the bread, Steve for donating the lamb and to everyone who donated raffle prizes. Special thanks to Andrew for putting up with me and my "harebrained" ideas!
