Oakley Lodge The Ockley Lodge meet has gained a reputation for lavishness and once again did not disappoint with seemingly endless amounts of both champagne and port on offer to wash down the pastries and savouries. Many glasses were still full (and not for the first time) when hounds moved off, occasioning a great deal of gulping and slurping. A wonderful start to a day which was active throughout with good scenting conditions at last allowing hounds to follow the trail with some gusto. |
