A massive turn-out was
more than generously catered for at Elderslie, Ockley. A
lovely sunny day, but the recent filthy weather combined
with clayey soil reduced everyone's finery to ruin within
20 minutes of leaving the meet.
Coloured cobs are the New Black - hooray.
Hounds hunted well but it
was really too warm for brilliant hunting. Many of the
field were incapable of caring much, though - thanks
Jamie.
A nasty little jump out
of a boggy wood provided much entertainment for footies
gathered like vultures as it was progressively demolished
by leading lights of the showjumping world whose names
will be kept secret for a fee.
