Limited edition prints of the Trinity Foot Beagles, now the Trinity Foot and South Herts Beagles The pack has strong connections to Cambridge University. The TFB, which formerly hunted hares in Cambridgeshire, now hunt within the constraints of the 2004 Hunting Act as the TFSHB throughout Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. The prints are each printed on high quality, parchment-like A4 sized paper. They are reproduced from Cambridge University’s Beagle Club minute book, which was maintained by each student Master when they met for dinner, often at the Pitt Club. Both of the limited edition prints were drawn by Arthur Penn in the first decade of the 20th century. The depict real events that happened with the TFB during that time. The coloured print depicts the huntsman of the TFB being taunted by a local farmer, who holds a hare, and his dog. The caption reads ‘Waterbeach Feb ’09. A yokel and his dog capture our exhausted hare, and evade William Henry Wiggins by crossing the river’. The second print, which is in black ink, shows a number of chaps, all typical beaglers, attempting and failing to cross a river. The caption reads ‘Crossing the Old West River from the Jolly Waterman, Cottenham'. Each pair of limited edition prints cost £25 including postage and packaging.
